F3-6M is a 3mm thrust bearing with grooved raceway. Its inner bore diameter is 3 mm, and outer diameter is 6 mm, and thickness is 2.8 mm (3.5 mm is also available). The tolerance is -0.008 mm to 0 mm for inner diameter and outer diameter, and -0.12 mm to 0mm for thickness.
This miniature thrust bearing consists of 3 separable parts: housing washer, shaft washer, retainer / cage. The material of housing washer and shaft washer is 52100 chrome steel (Gcr15), and the cage is made of brass or stainless steel. There are 6 pieces of steel balls in the cage, and the ball size is 1 mm.
The F3-6M bearing can endure a dynamic load rating of 556 N and a static load rating of 436 N in maximum. Lubrication is required to better use this bearing, and the lubricant is usually light oil or grease. With oil lubricating, the maximum rotating speed can reach up to 13,000 rpm. The permissible operating temperature for this bearing is -30℃ to 110℃.
