F4-9M is a 4mm thrust bearing with grooved raceway. It consists of 3 separable parts, they are housing washer, shaft washer and cage. The washers are made of chrome steel, and the cage is made of brass or stainless steel. The are 6 pieces of steel balls in the cage, and the steel ball size is 1.588 mm.
The inner bore diameter of F4-9M is 4 mm, and its outer diameter is 9 mm, height is 4 mm. The diameter of shaft washer is 8.8 mm, which is a little smaller than housing washer. And the bore of shaft washer is smaller than the bore of corresponding housing washer (4.2 mm) as well, this allows precise center fit which is used to align the bearing to the shaft.
Lubrication is required for F4-9M bearing, and the lubricant can be grease or oil. With oil lubricating, the bearing can reach up to a max speed of 8,000 rpm. F4-9M can endure a maximum dynamic thrust load of 800 Newton, and a maximum static thrust load of 520 Newton. It is suitable to work in a temperature condition of -30℃ to 110℃.
