F6-12M is a grooved raceway thrust bearing with 3 separable parts. It consists of 1x housing washer, 1x shaft washer and 1x cage with steel balls. The washers are made of 52100 chrome steel (Gcr15), and the cage is made of brass or stainless steel. There are 9 pcs of stainless steel balls in the cage, and the steel ball size is 2 mm.
The inner bore diameter of F6-12M is 6 mm, and its outer diameter is 12 mm, height is 4.5 mm. The shaft washer (outer diameter = 11.8 mm) is a little smaller than the housing washer (outer diameter = 12 mm). Because the outer diameter is designed with a precise center fit and is used to align the bearing to the housing.
F6-12M thrust bearing can endure a dynamic thrust load of 1600 N, and a static thrust load of 1255 N. Lubrication is required for this bearing, the lubricant can be oil or grease. With oil lubricating, it can reach up to a max speed of 5,000 rpm. The working temperature range is -30℃ to 110℃.
