F7-17M is a 7mm bore thrust bearing with grooved raceway. It is separable bearing consisting 3 parts: housing washer, shaft washer, cage with steel balls assembly. There is grooved raceway on the washer for more stable operating of the bearing, and allows the bearing to handle higher load than corresponding flat raceway one.
The housing washer and shaft washer are made of 52100 chrome steel (Gcr15), and the cage available in brass and stainless steel. There are 8 pieces of steel balls in the cage, and the ball size is 2.381 mm. The inner bore diameter is 7 mm, and (housing washer) outer diameter is 17 mm, the height is 6 mm. The outer diameter of shaft washer is a little smaller than housing washer’s, which is 16.8 mm. The net weight of this bearing is 6.5 grams approximately.
F7-17M is a single way direction thrust ball bearing, designed to accommodate axial load and locate a shaft axially. It can endure a dynamic thrust load of 2,650 N, or a static thrust load of 2,256 N. It is light oil lubricated with a max speed of 3,500 rpm.
